This was my first garden, and I kinda documented it... makes a fun picture diary, anyway..

I quickly learned that you are supposed to add plants AFTER you build your space out, but in my case, the plants motivated me to do a new project..

I got a tiller for my birthday! After it rained for 5 days straight at the end of June, I finally could mow and do a second pass with the tiller in the official spot..

Default My Summer Building a Garden

    July
I was able to get dirt in my raised beds, and get my plants planted. I accidentally started a grow outside (yes, I have six ladies in my yard), so I get to see how the 'naturals' do it..

2 Pink Kush, 3 Apple Fritter, and a Mac1. I had put a couple plants outside temporarily, and when I saw the difference a few hours made, it was a no brainer.. just had to figure out how to do it in plain sight. So far.. they're difficult to distinguish between the other vegetation.. that and I used a couple tricks- changing the look of the plants by cropping leaves, but other colorful plants around them..Name: IMG_6568.jpg

I'm adding a mini pumpkin patch in ground, between the sunflowers, and surrounding it with the little white fencing. But for now...

What a beautiful house and garden PoisonIvy you done a great job!
We've had a very wet Summer here in Scotland and my garden is overrun with Chickweed unfortunately.
Please let us know when you add the Pumpkin patch that will be very cool.
