    Default Re using coco

    Hey everyone,

So i'm think of re using my coco but i've never really done it before. I've watched several how to videos but I'm just wandering what people thoughts are on this?
Also do the fine root filaments cause issues in the next grow or do they break down?

Thanks for reading and any input.

    Val

Never tried only use 7.5lt, so a 50lt lasts a bit so for the 15 quid seems bit too much hassle

Products like cannazym break down dead roots and turn it into food for the plant.

It can defo be done using products like cannazym although I've never done it myself.
I can buy 10L coco blocks from Ebay which is much cheaper than cannazym so doesn't make financial sense for me.

From one Val to another Val, yes, it can be done, I do it. Whatever coco is lost from digging out the chopped plant, new coco is topped up into the pot, mix it up and bit, add in a bit of mycor, and we carry on with the next grow. I wouldn't say we have had difficulties in the root zone. My failed grows has been the experimental one in recent times.

I agree with Easy... by the time you've separated it & used cannazym (or the like), what have you really saved?
