Seems like most people just buy soil rather than mixing it. I tried to do it when I first started growing. Wouldn't do it now. Incredibly, you're not saving much money if at all making your own in small batches.

Humus peat and perlite, easy! Only thing I buy is the peat and perlite when it goes on sale each fall. Use kitchen scraps(bones and all) to make your humus then sit back and watch the magic.
Worm leachate is the only form of nutrients mine receive.

Bro I have to travel to the EU for real muck now just to get peat in it lol if the stick it in a bag or bottle il buy it even cross the border for it I'm a lazy cunt
