Default Unanswered: Fastbuds auto flowering Trainwreck

Has anyone grown this auto flower?

The manufacturer/distributer says 60-63 days. I am a few days past that and it doesn't look like its finishing anytime soon.

I brought the plant in from outside last Saturday to finish under a 600 hps because of wet weather conditions forecasted. I have not watered it as it has/had plenty of moisture in the 8 gallon container and I wanted it to use up the nutrients that were already in the soilless mix.

I am an experienced old school grower with a plant science degree from over 20 years ago, but I don't work in the industry anymore. I grew Grease Gun auto flower last year as my first grow into these auto flowers and it was very good.

This Trainwreck as mentioned is past its suggested time frame and looks healthy with lots of white hairs (stigmas) which are shriveling up now during the last few days, but not changing color. I know when stigmas start to wilt that means the plant is getting close, but they are not changing red which is a good indicator when you don't have a high powered magnifying glass to check resin glands. The pictures I have seen online of this plant at the end are quite colorful. I can see resin but not saturated like I have seen in pictures with color. What gives?

Hi Poncho, I wouldn't listen to what most breeders state the finishing time is..the majority of the time, it's not even close!

Most auto's I've grown, I go around 9-12 weeks, depending on the strain and I always go on trichomes which I check with a 60x scope, they're cheap and you can pick them up from anywhere, especially these days so well worth that small invesment that will help you no end.

I always go on trichome colour, shooting for more amber than cloudy, but that's just a personal preference..some like their's more at the 'cloudy' stage, avoiding clear trichomes as much as possible.

    Some pictures would help.

I consulted with the grow store yesterday and she agreed that not all breeds/sellers give a good finish timeframe. As recommended, I purchased and watered in Cal + Mag 2-0-0 supplement by Mad Farmer, and my Age Old Organics kelp as a foliar spray. I now figure one more week or so.

I have ordered a new micro SD card for my digital camera. Currently, I have no picture option as I don't use phone cameras or want that stuff on the phone for privacy reasons. I don't do phone internet.
