So my plant is currently 26 days into flower , growing in soil, PH has been steady at 6.5 but today I noticed that my PPM is 670. Most say it should be around 1000 during flower. So to raise the PPM you are supposed to add more nutrients to my watering solution? If I’m using a fox farm big bloom and Tiger bloom during flower, do I just add more of both of them to raise the PPM? Not sure

I've never worried about ppm with soil lots don't even bother with ph though I do keep it between 6.0 and 6.5 I ad my notes as plants dictate normally up them by the weeks in flower

When you say your Ph is 6.5, is that when it the feed goes in?, the problem with soil is that it contains lime which will naturally drop the Ph at the roots.

Plants take up nutrients between a Ph of 5.5 and 6.5, so you may find by Phing and the lime in the soil, your actually dropping the Ph to a level where the plants can't access the nutrients available.

Yeah it goes in at 6.5 I also have a meter that reads by inserting deep into the soil and it doesn’t get any higher than 7. So what should the PH going in be to ensure it’s correct in soil? Also plant shows no signs of deficiencies so

If was so low that plant can’t take the nutrients, would the plant be showing signs of deficiency?

Your best bet is when you feed them next, give them an extra amount in volume, so you get run off out of the bottom of pot, check the Ph before you feed, then check the Ph of the runoff.

That way you will know exactly how much the soil is lowering the PH.

Phing is just bad English, I just mean when testing your Ph.

Your plants may not be showing any defiencies, you maybe lucky and your Ph is landing in the range, but if it is outside that range, some nutrients become unavailable, and your plants wont put on as much weight.
