    Default seeds pushing up

    i germinated 5 seeds 3 days ago and the roots are growing down and they pushed up and pushed the case up out of the soil shall i poke them back down into the soil

    I'm no expert mate but I'd say leave it, everyone I have germed has pushed the seed casing out the soil, I thought it was normal. It'll shed the seed case as the cotyledons open up.

    Leave it alone - it'll be fine, once the seed leaves form the shell will pop off.

    you only need to touch them if the root is growing upwards.

    No! Leave them be.

    That's how they often surface. The seed casing drops off revealing the first teensy set of leaves.

    On very rare occasions they may get their little 'head' stuck and need help getting the casing free but leave well alone unless it becomes obvious something's gone wrong.

    All mine on my current grow had seed casings on when they came through the soil. Just leave them and they will shed them on there own.
