Sorry if this has been asked, I don't have time to read the whole thread at the moment.

I'm in my second week of flower and about to start using molasses. I remember someone saying that if I use molasses I won't need Epson salts, is this true?

    Cheers in advance

i was reading another forum, a thread by subcool from TGAgenetics and he mentions using sucanat pronounced soo-ka-nat (which is a concatenation of Sugar Cane Natural) is non-refined cane sugar that has not had the molasses removed from it. in the UK sucanat is called Rapadura Sugar.

Sucanat contains iron, calcium, vitamin A, vitamin B6, potassium and chromium. "Sucanat supplemented herb has an aroma and flavor all its own. It won't cover up the natural smell of your plants, but it'll add an extra richness and flavor to the strain. Some varieties that I've seen grown with Sucanat take on the flavor so much that they smell like carmel candy when you break up a bud. Joints rolled with Sucanat-grown ganja taste delicious all the way down to last ember burning against your fingertip. Bong hits linger on your tongue for hours, and even a quick hit off a pipe during lunch break becomes a momentary orgasm of sweet, savory goodness as the smoke rolls of your lips."

use two tbs per gallon (4L) feed day 30 and day 45 of flowering, it gives the plant carbohydrates which the plant has to make to photosynthesize, so it lightens the work load on the plant and all the extra carbs can be used to build bud, and you also get the benefit of the enhanced flavor of the weed.

    has anyone tried this?

I purchased 2 x 6 jars of black strap mollases and I paid with postage £16. I still have 10 un opened jars here because I* only use it for flushing nothing else. I also use alot of Carboload which forces plants to eat more giving them more growth and building them up.

Liquid CarboLoad from Advanced Nutrients is the best or you can use Bud Candy but only during flowering whereas carboload all through the plants life. Be careful using mollases as it can go off in your res turning your water stagnant and stinking the place out, I have had this happen before myself, remember its a food so has a use by date even when being used in the res will go off
