    hi burnz m8,ive been doing this for a few days now with a branch off my special haze male in my gorilla grow he's droped loads now and hes still going.my question here is i have a fruity chronic juice x1 and bubblelisious x1 both 8wks old 5wks since switch,if a pollenate one branch on each will the whole plant seed or just the buds pollenated?.ive tried to read up on it but there seems to be a conflict of opinion(no change there lol) can you shed any light on this for me plz m8?

    only the branch/buds you pollinate will seed not the whole plant.
    however im worried about it decrecing the potency of the rest of the plant, as energy will be used producing the seeds. and how far into flowering should you pollinate the buds?

    hi humble,ive read that too but on the other hand ive also read it makes no difference to potency,this is what i meant by "conflict of oppinion".i geuss theres only one way to find then! im off to paint some buds with pollen.i'll shove some pics up in my diary later today

    Excellent thread, just a couple of quick questions though. Once you've frozen your pollen, how do you go about unfreezing it? Does it stick in a block & you have to use it all at once? Do you have to unfreeze it to use it, or just paint on?

    The pollen should be dry when pulled out of the freezer. I put them in smaller packets so when I need one it's one time use, and yes I use a paint brush.

    I grew out a couple of quite heavily seeded strains, and they very still very strong. A pain in the arse to smoke, but no different to the non-seeded.

    A rather awesome thread, if I must say! . Looks like I'll be giving this ago as I've got a THC Bomb plant that's found to be a male and is showing a major PPP phenotype in height and growth and want to back-cross this bloke with my THC Bomb females!.
