    Default Growing technique?

Just been looking at Striders plants and few others, they all seem to grow a little different. I'm not sure if its the strain or not. But if you see my plants in the pics below, all the other buds are small apart from the main cola.

Don't really have any better pics, sorry

(Btw this pics is only a few weeks into flowering)

How would I get the lower down bud sites bigger? Trim some of fan leaves?

How do I get it too look like this pic (Strider, thanks for pic dude )

My lower bud sites are too small, HELP!

The simple answer is Patience my son ...

If yours are only a couple of weeks into flower you just gotta give em time, they should start to fatten nicely in the next few weeks.

Of course there are always lots of variables to take into account, light, soil, temps, strain, nutes etc etc.

I'm not aware of any details about your grow but they look fine to me.

Just out of interest what nutes are you using if any ??

I use the Canna Terra range & am quite happy with it. Terra Flores & Boost accelerator all the way through flower, the Boost accelerator isn't cheap but does seem to do good things. At week 5 i also give them PK 13/14 for a couple of weeks .. Combined they work wonders in my opinion.

I dont use anything in Veg as there's generally enough already in the soil for anything up to 5 weeks veg growth.

Those are old pics mate, I have all ready harvested them

They did fatten up at the top but the lower bud sites didn't get that big

To keep plants short, and bushy I use a technique known as supercropping. Simmilar to topping, but instead of cutting the top out, you bend it over. This stimulates lower growth, and with a little practice you can create plants with multiple, equal sized top colas.

I read about it in Soma's book, and haven't looked back since first trying it

Sounds good! But I'm not after making small plants as such just bigger lower down bud sites. I'm thinking of doing a sea of green, what do you think of this method?

Is super cropping where you rub your finger down the stem quite hard to make them fatter ad carry much nutes and water? Sorry for been a n00b

    Supercropping explained, sort of.

Pictures are the easiest way to explain the technique, other than saying you must squeeze the stem several times before bendinghelps weaken it, and keep the bend in place.

So it looks like it kinds of twists, but not breaks and then recovers and starts growing up again? I'm very interested. My plants are a week into flower, I'm guessing that's too late to do this?
