Good thing we all grow cus, no matter what the system tells us to do, they're not going to take our crutch/pasttime/hobby/addiction away from us!

I used to know a bloke years ago who had a fairly effective (partial) barter system. He & his Missus (no kids) were on the dole. He used to play in a band at weekends (cash-in-hand) and also used to mend peoples' guitars (again, cash-in-hand, tax-free). He made loads of his own country wines (from foraged stuff like Elder, Birch, Crab Apples, Mayflowers, anything really) & used to swap that for things like weed, hash, speed (he was a bit of a Whizz-head), etc & then he made a breakthrough with the geezer who ran the local Spar - he'd accept a bottle of wine in exchange for half a dozen eggs or a couple of pints of milk, etc. So he lived fairly well despite not having an 'official' income. (The quality of his wine is what made it successful - it was top notch!)

I'm not advocating this necessarily but it's good to see people being resourceful.

(I'm currently trying to aid my own skint situation with car boot sales & Ebay but its slow going.)

This is so true. I only smoke cause I can't afford to go out and enjoy life properly.
But then, I have no money to do that because I smoke.
Its a never ending circle that hopefully growing will sort out. LOL

Can I just add, people sometimes (media based imo) always live just beyond their means.

If more people budgeted and saved they would have mroe to look forward too and
be more grateful for what they have, god I need to go to bed, I havent smoked any weed for over 2 weeks trhough choice.
