Which is why we ask people with plant probs to fill out one of these before posting problems. Without the full picture it is impossible to diagnose a problem!

    help us help you!

Before posting a plant problem if you cut n paste one of these babies, and then give as much info as possible next to each question making sure your answers are bold as it makes for easier reading.

Sorry to hear about your light mate, but your 250 should be ok aslong as you pop your hand under the light and above your plants to make sure its not to hot.
I'm using some soil my friend got with the seeds. i didnt actually plant the seed he did it and then gave it to me (this is because it my first grow i intend on doing it myself in the future). I bought some homebase house plant stuff that my mum said the plant would like after having read what was necessary for the soil on the internet. So it has good drainage, natural humus and a bit of lime. i will pot it into this soil once it has grown upwards a bit.

The soil was too hot for the seedling? :S how would i cool the soil down without moving the plant too far from the light?

The nutes are most definatly away now, i flushed my plant last night and got a load of nute coloured water out. i was pleased i caught that before they had a chance to burn my little princess.

I'm still struggling to find a definative answer in what you are saying =( nutes are definatly out of the picture now, i am making sure that the plant doesn't get burnt or over watered. but the problem was still there before all this happened =/ aside from all this the leaves are all still growing well and she looks like she's about to shoot upwards any day now.

Just for future info, how do i know when to start nuting my plant?

Thanks for you help everyone, it is very much appreciated.

    OK just to clarify :

When organix said the soil may have been "too hot" he meant that the level of nutes already in that particular soil was prob too much for them or maybe the wrong type of soil/nutes preparation for cannabis, not that the soil itself was too warm.

And from your answers above : not too much to worry about by the sound of it but i would move the fan that's blowing directly at it, lift the fan up a bit so it blows gently across the top of the plant, between the top & the bulb is perfick.

Ahhhhhhh. that's clarified a lot, i was wondering how the soil could get too warm!!! lol. i am the definition of noob.

Sweet, well when it's big enough i'll transplant it and everything should be kushty. should i just leave it as it is for now then?

    thanks again everyone!!!!

Cheers. The leaves have turned white in places now. But i think that's a backlash of my stupidity when i thought it would be a good idea to nute it. It's still growing nicely though, i just wish it would grow up because all the laeves are so close together the bottom ones don't get any at all. All will be well though

I'm gonna start a journal when it's big enough to deem worthy

Thanks everyone, you've put my mind at rest.

You fed that plant far to soon mate. The soil will last the plant atleast 4 to 6 weeks soil and strain depending before needing any feed and you don't need to feed a cannabis plant until they are around 5 to 6 weeks old (unless kept in a small pot), but if you keep repotting them they won't need feeding until flowering.

Those bottom leaves won't get better, just keep your eye on the other leaves to make sure that yellowing doesn't creep up the plant. Just stick to plain water for the time being mate and i would snip off those bottom (single blade) damaged leaves to.
