first ever grow,aero,day 36 of flower,quick ?

im doing my first ever grow
i am using the 8 pot amazon aeroponic system

strain is chronic x bubblegum from clone

1.2 tent
600 hps super nova reflector
125w red cfl stood inbetween the middle of them
4in fan kit
4x4in air stones
9in osolating fan
ph5.8
ppm 1200
200w fish tank heater

using canna aqua flores and overdrive

question is,

the buds are getting quite fat now and was wondering if i can trim the larger leaves to let more light through.
there is a lot of good buds under the canopy but we all want bigger

as this is my first grow i am still a noob so would like as many opinions as possible please.

Yes you can trim some of the fan leafs to give more penetration to the lower buds but don't cut to much though.

Btw when having plant's so tight together its also good to trim a fair bit to let air go through the canopy's to not risk getting mould so trimming will be good for both for penetration and keep the budrot at bay.

I have the same question as I am about to bud 8-9 plants in a 120c, x 240cm tent. How many leaves can / should I cut off in order to improve light and air penetration?

Well its pretty hard to say something with out pictures or being there to show. Not like one can say, take off 20 fan leafs and that is good enough hehe

But yeah do some trimming until the lower colas get good lights on them but only remove the fan leafs not the other leafs and post a picture, or just trim as much as you think is needed and leave it at that.

Cossi you can trim quiet alot by the look of things though.

Don't throw anything away, the fan leafs can still be used when doing cannabutter or oil.

finally got round to trimming yesterday,took quite a bit off but looks a lot better now.
main colas getting fatand quite sticky now and they are getting that nice bubble smell.
some nice side buds getting there now too.
