I tried to grow like the method explains in the top of this thread but i didnt get the results i was expecting it was my first go at organics and i ended up with about 2.5 o of pretty dank gh jack herer the only problem was i got early yellowing both times i run this method, but tbf I still get early yellowing doing conventional organics.

I think if your good at organic it wouldnt be too hard to get this system dialed in.

What were the specs on the grow? Any information you could give me would help.

keeping the ratio of nutrients correct, and having a constantly balanced pH. If these three things are not precisely calibrated, the hydroponic garden will not thrive as it should.

What are the best books on hydroponics? I know all about the various websites and guides out, but I like a physical book I can bring with in my bag for work for down time that isn't easily internet compatible(repeated flights over a big state a few times a day).

The big problem is that most of the best information on this is online in form of PDF's & articles

Great post mate just what I was looking for.
I'm currently growing in organics, but I really need to start using my sutopot system again so I have been experimenting with Coco and evoponic nutrients. Though the Volvo side is looking great there's just a little missing from the terp production, not much but noticeable to me.
My idea was exactly this , a Coco and pebble layer at bottom of pot and an organic soil later on top, dual root zone where I can feed organically and allow the autopot to water when I'm away.
Definitely going to give it a go now
When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all.
