Just watched the whole interview blurry, Boycs still talks a good game even when he's pissed, in fact he makes more sense than when he's sober.
20/20 in the morning, not my fav form of the game but I'll be listening to the TMS guys anyway.

play from roughly 4:40 to see why the aussies aren't really seen as sportsmanlike for the last 30 years.

poor old Richie sounded embaressed to be Australian...

Oh yeah azer, that one is hilarious, especially how the NZ player just chucks his bat away and storms off seething.

All joking aside though it really was and still is an utter disgrace, wasn't even as though they would have even got the runs required anyway.

tbh though I'd have done the same... was a bad decision to do that.
It wasn't as though anything really was riding on the match anyway....
Last thing though... Richie was brilliant at the end - really laid into them. Has there ever been a better Presenter/pundit/cricket bloke??? He is a true cricket warrior imo.

Oh yeah I love Richie Benaud, utter class act, big miss from our cricket summers, I grew up watching him and Tony Lewis doing the Tests on the BBC..Yeah shame he only works for channel 9 now.

Speaking of nuts, check out Michael holding trying to kill Brian Close, no helmet Close once said that when you get hit by cricket ball 'it only hits you for a second' haha.

Nice one Azer, I remember watching that live (BBC), Botham was a genius and he also had that thing that all great sportsmen need, luck.

Ouch, no wonder he was called 'the wispering death', lovely run up and action from Mikey, glad I only saw from the sidelines though.

And the best innings I can recall seeing, Gooch 154* v West indies on a lively pitch, when they had a excellent attack, superb knock this one, better than his 333..Anyone else remember this one ?
