    Default sugar issue

if too much sugar is added to water and given to plants it makes the ground rather stiff because it congeals, so i assume to some extent it prevents water and nutrients flowing freely through the plant. Aside from flushing does anyone know of a more affected way to reduce the sugar held in soil. Boiling water would destroy the roots i imagine... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

lots and lots and lots of luke warm water could be the only way surely(just guessing)? But I can't think if any other easy way of diluting sugar in any plant friendly form ?? I&I would not have thought this should be a really big problem unless your adding the tate&lyle 1lb:1l ?? are you ?
