1 of my 2 auto fem seeds wont germinate..please help!!

Hi all,

I received my 2 feminised autoflowering seeds a few days ago. I got 1 lemon skunk and 1 blueberry (both from lowlife).

I put them both in a cup of water (that i had previously boiled and cooled) for 12 hours and poked them with my finger to which they sunk. From what i learnt that means they have absorbed water.

I then put them in between two damp paper towels into a sealed plastic bag. I also made sure the conditions were dark and warm.

After about 12 hrs lemon skunk cracked with a sprout appearing but blueberry seed nothing

i germed blueberry for another 48 hrs but still nothing

i have put her in another cup of water (lukewarm) for another 12 hours coz i was thinking maybe she needs to absorb more water

has anyone else had experience of a seed taking ages to germ? Im pissed coz the seed cost me a tenner and i cant go back to the seed company coz they state they wont answer querys about germination as their seeds are sold for 'souvenier' purposes! should i be patient and try to germ her for longer? or could it be a dead seed..how can i tell?

any advise would be much appreciated!

it is possible that the seed will not germ this is natural as some seeds like any egg,embryo do not make it.
it could also be that the shell is a bit hard or it may take a little longer.i would plant the seed in some soil and wait a few days , maybe a week, to see what happens.

people have had success using a pin to scratch away at the seem to incorrige it to split. I've even read the putting it in black current squash(diluted) works

Thanks guys gonna try sticking a safety pin in it b4 i give up on it! never heard the blackcurrent squash idea...any1 tried it?!

Have also read somewhere else that lowlife seeds r shite...dam wish id known b4 i got em....can any1 reccommend a reliable seed manufacturer/shop?

p.s im pretty happy about my other seed tho..it was potted yesterday, under 18/6 and has already appeared out the soil

I think its the acid in the squash that helps to soften the case. I highly rate paradise seeds. you can get almost anywhere. Their the dogs! 99.99999-100% germ rate
