Default Problem leaves on my coco plants.

Just wondered if any of you guys have an idea whats going on with these?

Grown in canna coco under a 125w red cfl, 250 hps in the same room but these are directly under the 125watter.

Nutrients are Canna A and B at 1.5ml per litre ph Between 5.7 and 6.0.

Could it be the peat pellets reacting with the coco? or maybe because I used some out of date rhizotonic, used it twice before I realized.

New growth is fine but old lower growth going yellow, crispy and spotty.

    Cheers.

    yo sog dude....
wow this reminds me of how my grow started.....
mate i think that your not giving them enough nutes tbh.... do u give 1.7 per litre of A and 1.7 of B... is it to 10ltr..
just that canna guidelines are 40ml of each A+B to 10ltr mate.... this should bring ure ec up to 1.2/1.4 and thats perfectly fine.....
your ph is fine mate but try n keep it the same as much as ya can... in hydro u would let it drift abit but thats not the case in coco....
just done a coco grow mate(well sort of) and i gave them that mix all way through without any deffs at all...
if it were hydro u would def keep it under the guidelines and have a low ec but not in coco mate i had mine up to 2.9 in flower.....
hope this helps mate.... just check my 2nd diary dude that should help ya out....
    as always RESPECT

    Cheers for the reply dude.

I'm giving them 1.5ml of A and B to 1ltr not 10 which is the same as 15ml per 10 litres.

To me they look underfed but not 100% sure this is the case with mine, I shall do an experiment on the 2 Belladonna's, feed the one as I have been doing and the other I will up the feed a bit and see what happens.

I forget that coco and hydro feeding are different, like on my waterfarm I dont think I went over 1.2Ec but like you say coco is different.

I'll have a gander at your diary and see whats what.

    Thanks man

    Cheers coco,

My declorinated tap water is 0.57ec so I just added 1.5A and 1.5mlB to 1ltr this gives me 1.27Ec including the B/G Ec of 0.57. (This is the maximum that have been fed on so far)

So I added a bit more 2ml of A,2ml of B in total to that 1ltr, this give me 1.57Ec including the B/G ec.(So really the Ec is 1Ec at this mix then, but I always include the B/G ec)

They are 26 days old today from seed, is this new mix not going to be to strong?

Just being carefull as you do

Should be fine, I give 1.2-1.5 EC during Veg and 1.7-2.0 EC during flower (varies a lot on the Strain)

0.57 EC tap water is quite high, Mine is 0.21 EC out of the tap.. If I had nearly 0.6EC I'd think about getting a Reverse Osmosis device fitted.

Ok cheers for that,I'll give it a go and see what happens

That Ec is the reading of 0.57 is what I get when the water has been left to stand for 24hrs. I live in a hardwater area so thats probably why it's so high.

I will post any updated pics here when something happens.

    Cheers lads

Hi there, my prob was down to under feeding but they are ok now but it's hard to say whats up with yours without pics.

Some strains need a bit of epsom salts at some point (think it's about week 3 of flower you add it) so could be that as they yellow when they need some.

You could try checking the runoff, if the Ec is lower than what you put in then thats a sign they could do with more feed.

Are they all the same strain? There is a Coco grower called Illearth who grows using autopots, if no joy from here you could always give him a shout and ask whats up.

    Hope you get it sorted
