start small and build up mate, if your smoking and not growing you are wasting money everytime you goto a dealer mate. first grow i ever did many many years ago was under 3 foot fluro's i robbed from my fishtank. if you are that short on money buy some auto flowering plants and use the big hps in the sky to grow them.
i dont know how much you smoke mate but as soon as you have your first harvest in, you will be saving the money you are currently giving away to a dealer, put that towards buying equipment and learn what you are doing from this great forum andyou will never have to buy weed again!

good advice, it dont have to cost a fortune, for under the price of an ounce these days you can grow shit loads, check out second hand 'lowbay lights' far cheaper than hydo lights, only need to add the correct bulb and bingo your away
