If the hesi nutes give me a good result id probably stick with em until I had a lot more experience.

As far as a diary goes, I am very much thinking about it, having read quite a few they are very informative! would you fancy 'mentoring' me Mr cocogrower?? Think id be confident enough then to show how im getting on

Oh, seeds arrived yesterday, kit arrives tomorrow all being well ! probably start tuesday.

I got it off an ebay seller, ordered over phone and it arrived next day, it did come with a cheap 4'' filter with the fan. if ya wanna message me i will dig out the guys contact details.

I'd look at getting a half decent root enzyme as well. Really helps - especially in early stages/veg.

Do I need a root enzyme if i grow from seed? I thought it was for cuttings? there is some 'clonex' and 'formulex' in the root riot kit is that what you mean?

Roots Excelurator from House and Garden is the mutts nuts. You use it for seedlings, clones, veg and 3-4 weeks into flower. Very Concentrated .3ml per litre of water (250ml £35). Not Cheap. Something to consider for your next grow maybe.

But worth the money. Azerbanphal is talking about a root enzym, such as Cannazym, there are others but thats what I use. I grow in soil but its suitable for all grow mediums. €15 for 1ltr
