Saw this when treasure hunting that there are over 250 pages with people with 0 post count(Results 7471 to 7500 of 14758) and the guess would be that these are under 18 years old or at least the majority of them and they just want access to the grow diary's so why not have them deleted and put up a post limit like you have to make a certain number of post before the account either gets deleted or just putting up a certain post number to be allowed to go into the diary's?

Would be the same as the picture count because having a certain number of post usually makes people slip up and get busted when they in fact are under 18, right now its a clear highway for anyone under 18 to enjoy the grow sections just without posting anything and they never get busted.

What about the people that don't feel they have anything to say and just like browsing or have no confidence or are to paranoid to comment and this is their only way of reading up on growing weed ? I understand what your saying cause I said the same thing about a year ago (plus part of me wanted to steal cannamans name so I didn't have to write cannamancan everytime I logged in lol). Plus every now and again members from 2009 with no post counts pop in and comment for their 1st time in ages and mention that they have just been browsing for a while .
The last time rags updated the full forum everybody lost their post count so we all had to start from scratch , I was abit gutted cause I was quite new and were getting very close to my 100 thanks lol maybe that put a few peeps off and maybe they're just browsers now .
I agree the no posters could do with a clean up but how would you know if ur deleting some1s account who regularly logs in for help/info?

Yes to post count, but no to grow diary time frame. Unless you meant one or the other must be completed.
Many (including myself) joined to learn how to do an effective grow, having a time limit to post a grow diary would exclude those on the learning/ financial curve.

So many rules all the time.
I don't see why anything at all needs changing at this site.

So we have people with 0 posts, who cares. You never looked at porn when you were under 18? As long as the aren't contributing, who the hell cares.

To be just randomly browsing the member list looking for things like this, mate you really must have way too much time on your hands. Leave the clean ups to the forum staff, its what they are there for, and if they haven't done it, it can't be that important.

To add to what cannaman said, I was a lurker for about a month before I became a regular contributor. Had I not of been able to lurk for a month, I probably would've went elsewhere. Whilst its all good saying, fine, go elsewhere, the members would slowly go down and down and down until it ends up with no-one visiting as the post count will have dwindled

no absolutely ridiculous i can see good people not staying and going to other sites because of it theres no evidence of undesirables here and if a so called non welcome person wants in there nothing thats going to stop them anyway it will create spam seen it before with worthless comments to see a section

a 0 post count isnt evidence of being undesirable its evidence of lerkers and that,s not a problem not every one want to post why should they be penalise! why should you be made to post on a public site !
    that my opinion anyway
    regards G

edit: canna just sos you know ragman can easily remove the 0 posters with out damaging the data base with a sql query but no need is there, just thought i woulds let you know lol

yeah I know but how would he know who is over 18 ? Who is actually using the forum for help ? Who are just lurking ? Who are active members that just don't want to or are to paranoid to post ? Etc it just sounds like a really time consuming pointless job!

There are more things to the forum then the grow section and everyone got interest of some sort so it will get people to become active and in turn become one in the group instead of standing on the outside looking in.

"I agree the no posters could do with a clean up but how would you know if ur deleting some1s account who regularly logs in for help/info?"

Some thing, all they have to do is to become active and join in which will make it better for everyone instead of some people just eating the cake without even helping out baking or paying for it lol

The amount of knowledge one gathers here is close to insane, I have spent alot of time reading and I learn something new everyday so is it so much to ask that someone put a little effort into it to gain that knowledge too? I have been through the same thing when I first started out with forums as it was something new to me I hassitated going out there and sometimes one just need a little kick in the ass to get the ball rolling and now there are more forums that got it and still I don't mind the waiting as I know it will be rewarded later on.

Its the same one does with people in the real life, if they got low confident then you give them a little kick in the ass to get things rolling.(not literally though hehe)

About the everyone can loose there post count then I guess what ever happen last time might be avoided or it can always be re-done later on if it causes problems. On another forum(which I mention in the other thread) took away whole sections but people still had there post counts pretty much intact so shouldn't be much problems but I guess it depends on what program is used for this site or something?

The diary was an option someone else putted up so I took that in as well but yeah you choose either one or the other, should have written that as a seperate one though.
