That just makes me more determined to buy some of the fucking stuff if only just to have done it! I've plundered various East London markets (see above) but no-one seems to want to sell it to me.

I'll have to look elsewhere. I can't be arsed to grow the fucking thing. It's enough having to grow food to eat & weed to stay sane. Any more is just a luxury & I have Homebrew for that.

Let us know how you get on though, needsmust. We're keen to learn & gain (maybe laugh?) at your experience.

Yes, buying it is rough in places, esp if caucasian. I can get some easily enough, but it's a pain and rarely fresh. Doneit a few times in the last 5 years. I also lived in a 'hood and got to know many Somalians which made connection easier. They would laugh at me cos I only chew a few leaves at a go.

I got the seeds Wednesday, super fast delivery and look exactly like the textbook pics say the seeds should look like. I potted them up yesterday in cactus soil and perlite. Roll on 2015ish!

If I start a diary on them, it will take forever for anything interesting to happen, lol. But I have taken pics so I'll edit and post in the next couple days.

We used to chew on it back in the day! late nineties? A root that made your mouth water like mad! and tasted nasty really dry if that makes sense?? the more you could fit in your mouth the better alright buzz, no better than guarana seeds it was legal then for sure, I think it got criminalised then went back to being declassified! we would get it off Herman and the Hippy they got it imported/brought back from India! they would try allsorts out on us, salvia opium lettuce etc. they went on to set up as dr hermans now so you could try them?

Different uses altogether in my world, this being a natural pick me up to happily get through 15+ hour days. Weed wouldn't quite to that and have a level of functionality to them, lol.

Besides, I'm happy enough with the shade of green on my thumb, I only wish my garden were bigger!
