Have already got bubblers in res tank and air being pumped into tray runs,,also take wraps off rockwall cubes when in trays to help with root development,,cover my cubes from start, to stop algie growing on um also cover my end of res tank to stop algie....any bods out there got any other tips they use to improve growth with an NFT system...
    Thanks all for any replies....

  2. "Tip 1 - If you are putting very young seedlings or cuttings into nft make sure that there is lots of roots coming out of the bottom of the rockwool cube before you transplant them to nft.

Tip 2 - Put the water pump feeding the nft tray on a timer and have it on for 15mins every 2hrs to 3 hrs for about 3 or 4 day. The roots will develop really quick in this time searching for food.

Tip 3 - Don't forget you'll need to support the plants when they get bigger as nft has no depth in the trays (unlike waterfarms, etc).

I hope this helps you out."

Like computer viruses, successful mind viruses will tend to be hard for their victims to detect. If you are the victim of one, the chances are that you won't know it, and may even vigorously deny it.

Elevate the end of the tray where the pump is with a book etc, this helps with water flow..
