I visited the link you have shared with us and it is definitely useful but does 400 watt that is one foot 50 away from it will fry the plant due to over heat. Thanks then for the information you have shared with us.

theres no correct answer to this thread,its all down to space, extraction,household temps,plus plant growth,its all about not burning them is all.atb

No one has mentioned this in any forums or youtube channels that I follow (and there are heaps)....
Attaching the LED lights above the plant seems to give the best PPFD to the top of the canopy only, and not to the foliage underneath.
If one were to place the LED light panel above the plant but to one side of the tent and at an angle of 45 degrees. Then have the plant on a powered rotating table spinning at, say 1RPM (like you see in some display cabinets at a jewellers for example).
Would this give better light coverage to all of the plant?
