Default Conventional wisdom or is it conventional myths?

Aloha just would like to throw out some conventional "wisdom" out the window such ideas as a waterlogged plant will parish because of too much water...really?? Then how about deep water culture? Except for nutes and such, the plants are 100% water logged and live. The problem can be of lack of oxygen in the water/soil or any other, but water IS NOT the problem. Next we will take on fast vertical growth, big leaves, big stems, deep dark green leaves all as signs NOT of a good grow, but of fert imbalance and a mediocre grow.
