So, so far the majority is in the south of UK. As I've said, I'm willing to travel anywhere, so do we look for somewhere down south?? Or, wait and see if there is any more interest from other members and see where they are based??
Obviously it won't be happening until next year, but it would be nice to have some plans in place so we've all got something to look forward to!
    Peace,

I would prefer to be sat by a lake aswell tbh, but, I'm easy like a Sunday morning!! Up for anything, just be nice to chill with some like minded individuals and a big bag o smelly
Maybe we could organise both? A little boat trip, one weekend, and then 24hrs on a lake at some point aswell?!

I'd be up for doing 48hrs if everyone else would be?? Makes it more worthwhile for those that are having to travel any distance.

As long as there are a few fish to be caught and green to be smoked I dont really care where we end up to be honest!! Local canal to deep sea wrecking.....I'm game!!! @ thclurch, that makes sense mate, not to mention a bit more time to get those lines wet.

Carp fishing is in my blood so ide much rather be sitting behind the alarms waiting for afew bleeps bushgrower I still ent had a 30 either I've been stuck on 26-14 for the last 5 seasons so I'm dying to get me first 30 in me landing net. I think we should do 48 hr min to make it worth while
I still want to get out on the sea in a boat cus never done it and that would be a crack so we should arrange that aswell. When are we thinking next summer or something?
Don't know where to go yet I think we should all have a look around then all suggest some places then decide maybe?? Just an idea!!!!!
There are some wicked day tickets about but the idea of renting our lake sounds the bollox

just found a lake that we could book its a newlands hall essex
but will only peg 8 people
here is a bit i found on the lake
The Osiers Lake is a specialist carp water with only 8 named and carefully positioned swims. With common and mirror carp from 15Ib to 35Ib it is ideal for the more “serious” carper. The lake is available on a day/night ticket basis. No booking required, as with the other lakes, the bailiff will collect the money on the bank. It is also available to book for private group sessions with exclusive use for up to 8 anglers for up to 72 hours. This will guarantee total privacy and exclusivity. Eg Friday 1800 to Sunday 1800 (48 hrs), maximum 8 Anglers – Only £400..

What will happen if there are twice as many people interested than there are swims available at any given venue? Fish in rotation perhaps?
