i found nft without paying a lot of attention to it can be quite complicated for a new grower, i have gone to soil now as i have seen some amazing grows on here. i found it quite hard to keep in control of the surrounding such as res temp, humidity, groom temp. i think i will look into modifying my tank to make it more suitable. definately got a few tips off here anyway!

i also found it a real ball ache to change the res especially when the plants are bigger, my soil grow now i feel in control of with feeds and it also seems to have decompliacted my groom so nice room in there and not as many things to check! loving the soil got some lovely cheese cuttings atm, got 7 but may keep one as a mother then keep the best 5 and have a little experiment with the other. 5 good yeilds and something to play with! gonna be my practice for the lst and maybe a scrog?!?!

Nft are simple to use when emptying u just put a hose on the e d of the pump and pump it out the tank into a bucket
Water temp if it's over 23 u tend to run into problems keeping it around 19 is spot on
Ph 5.8 to 6.2
If u put them in at the start with not enough roots they will struggle
Also if the water was on full at the start and only a couple of roots u could have drowned them
Once u find the balance it is the fastest growing system IMO

im on my 2nd week in veg im feeding iconic grow with 700 tds 4 times in 24 hrs for 30 mins is this ok and do my roots need to grow into the res
