alright
we know that hempy buckets r easy as they are, and simpler form of hydro , so why trying t make it easier ? well, I got no clue
the idea is a hemp bucket 2/3 with 100% perlite and 1/3 soil on top
why ? purpose is to be able to use soil nutes within this method, I did find few that tested similar scenarios but somehow I lost my links and cant post em anyway so I ll list few points :
+ few growers tried 100% perlite and using liquid soil nutes , they reported micro defenciencies, most at late stages
+ a grower tried 2/3 perlite 1/3 soil and soil nutes as experiment, claimed had no problems at all and explained that usualy, main deep roots focus on water while top 1/3 are more responsable about collectin micro nutes. ( I didnt find facts to back that up yet.
whats innit for me? or what do I think about it
- convenient for the availability of supplies in my case
- for noobs this is super easy, less chances of overwatering for example
- it is reported that once roots reach the reservoir they goin b happy and super active.
