mate of mines a keen gambler on the horses, went in at 11am to place a bet, tucked the wee pen behind his left ear,went fer lunch, he then went back in fer the 330 race n proceeded to tuck another pen behind his right ear! amused as i was i thought id let it play n see how long it lasted till he noticed, collected his winnings- 9pm in the pub! still not a clue why folk are lookin at him funny! hes even been to the bogs and sneezed n the fuckers are still on ! 11pm by at long last hes deep in contemplation looking at the mirror behind the bar when he slowly turns his head side to side n this big dumpy grin slowly spreads across his face n he turns to me n says some mate you are letting me walk about fer 12 hours with two fuckin bookies pens behind my ears looking like a 90s raver!!
