ISO aint exactly cheap. Assuming a decent lifespan of the still you'd certainly get your money back if youre making oil for meds regularly.

I'd go for one of those SmartStill/Easy Still.I was looking at a thing called a "coldfinger" to do the same job,but they're about $350 & couldn't find an UK seller either.

There's a crowd called Skunk Pharm Research who showed you how to build one from a pressure cooker & some hose

Im not too sure atm, I have a couple of things in the pipeline so to speak and if it comes off then something like the larger one will be very useful. I was thinking on the smaller one for personal use.

You could always make your own alcohol with it and use the alcohol for the extraction.

sweet dude. Could you let me know how you get on? Could do with something bigger than my rice cooker, means it takes me a weekend to do enough oil for 3 months.
Miss may be able to help with a cheaper alternative that would work, shes clever and uses tinternet well

I have a Mr. Distillers, basically a water still but at slightly lower temperatures. I've had mine for at least 6 years and it still puts out around 160 to 170 proof after the second run. Any way, I just jumped into making tinctures. For now, I'm just doing infusions but wondering if such a still can be used to concentrate. I hear refining also helps remove chlorophyll and waxes at least that's what happens when I'm making booze at work.
