it not about the watt, its about the right spectrum.

Turning up a LED that don't work, don't make them better

Of course it's about the power output. The power output determines the footprint the light will cover. The bigger the power output, the larger the physical footprint. And yes obviously it's also about the spectrum and about the diodes, and the focusing lens. And I still say that a 150 degree lens on a 3w diode isn't going to give you sufficient depth penetration to grow a plant that can easily reach 4/5ft.

This is why you use 6 units to give coverage of 1.2 meter. one unit will not cover it

12 would but they still wouldn't penatrate the canopy of a 3 foot tall cannabis plant.

6 units ?? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a SINGLE unit about 500/600 quid ? (Crop light ) so yeah feck that ! Hopefully I'll take the LED plunge soon ! Quite interested in the new Eshine panel (20 watt diodes) just waiting to see results with the panel as I've seen a couple of ppl on here with them .

I will find out the size of the plant from the person that has tested them. To make 100% sure.
