I know you can get software for raspberry pi on GitHub that'll do that. You'd probably have to search it out yourself though.

Raspberry pi are great fun to play around with.
I have built a nextcloud server on a raspberry pi 3b+
so I can access it anywhere in the would ( I attached a 512gb external usb harddrive)
There's loads of different linux os you install and run on a raspberry pie.
The reason I said about the Arduino Uno is there a really good tutorial on you tube showing you the basics
old man alway starts off talking about ice coffee, no sugar none need.
some really good kits on amazon that will get you up and running
think its plc ladder training
and you program in c but it's very basic
built Christmas lights on a breadboard for the first time was great fun
