    Default Dehumidifier or AC unit

    Ganna spend on an AC or dehumidifier as the one IV just struggled with was a cheep shitter so do u advise ac or dehumidifier and if so which one I'm hell bent on humidity control this time round also getting new intake intake n outtake fans so any recommendations for them would b gd to I'm in a 2*2 m tent by the way thanks

    Dehumidifiers will not cool the air ... if anything warm it. Great to drop humidity though. Vital in the UK.

    AC can dry as well as cool air - but IME not great for drying. Also expensive to buy and run.

    Ok so dehumidifier it is but can you lot point me in the right direction without dehumidifier my tent gets to high 80s rh I battled all the way trough got fantastic results but I no I can better. Them so any screenshots of a dehumidifier that will sort a 2*2m tent with 10 plants in ther would be a big help as IV baught wrong once already

    You want a unit that drains to waste.

    Probably 12L per day. I use a 6L in half the size and I don’t budge above 35.

    Igenix do a self-evaporating unit so it will recycle the collected moisture and never turn off because a catch tank is full. AC all the way but just remember that the hot air needs to go somewhere and potentially needs filtered too.

    So thers a problem I got one lad saying dehumidifier n one saying AC I'm ready to part with the cash I'm looking at a dehumidifier for 200 quid can someone pleas settle this one for me please

    So the dehumidifier I'm looking at is 20l per day with a hose for constant use what I don't understand is how will an AC unit do the same job as a dehumidifier my impression of AC is cool air my impression of dehumidifier is dry air pleas pleas can someone clear this up it's the only thing stopping me growing again

    As you'll only need an air con in the summer, a dehumidifier would seem the obvious answer....
