As a first time potm contestant (hopefully this month) what sort of things do you look for? Should I clean up my plant or is leaving on fan leaves acceptable? Worth adding a banana in the pic for size reference?

First thing that I look at is the structure of the plant... and then the rest

including what's in the background!

A good quality pics also helps, too many are a rushed affair and that costs votes!

Will be able to enter soon I think, my sexy zkittle (week9 ( 8-9 days flip. ) and she is around 3-4 ft wide at the minute
