hehe, yeah they do start out strange. I think it was the fact the light was on 24/7 for three weeks made all the difference.

Got a two stage update today, possibly even three if I can get up off my arse..

First up, finally got the chance to go and pick up a new shade. At last got my hands on a diamond. Naturally not some new bulbs too..

On the plant side of things..

I've finally taken the plunge and reduced the pot size of the two mother plants.

Here's a before shot:

taken out of the pot. Considering that's an 11 litre pot the entire thing was roots.

bit of a close up, despite so much root mass (ok so it doesn't look it in this pic but trust me it was) the perlite is still doing its thing.

This is the stalk of the old girl (1 year and 3 months ish)

Forgot to take pics of the actual plants themselves lol so I'll be sorting that out later. Could be doin some clones too if I have the time..

Now they will bush up big time under your new shade, it sure spreads the light better and keeping in downwards.

madness mate!!!

i just love seeing pics of peoples new growing equipment, very exciting stuff, for me it was gonna be the diamond or the coolstar but the coolstar just won out in the end, but that diamond still looks the shit!!!

and that progress is just mad, just goes to show it really is worth using a MH as well as sodium.

and as LK says that last shot really looks tree like! so cute.

so, what are your plans for the future then, is that your only grow space or do you have a flowering space too?

Yeah mate, I've also noticed it has a much more even spread of heat than the last one. Time will tell..

cheers bitt. Well, I took some clones last night and have them under my 200 enviro (24/7). Once these guys have rooted I'll lollipop the three mothers and then shove them back in their mother box

The tent can then be used for the clones.. I'd love an extra flowering space but that would make my setup too big to be considered (in the eyes of the lure) personal use. Not only that but the amount of work involved would kill me lol.
