    But according to this study ;

    It seems that flushing does not (significantly) remove any of the fundamental nutrients initially perceived to be flushing ( Nitrogen, Sulphur, Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium )

    However, it is also found that using water only for the last 2 weeks has no impact on yield, thus saving money on 'fertilizer'.
    When I was in organics, I would just stop feeding.... if I had enough notice
    It's Not What You Know, It's What You Can Prove

    When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all.

    That's the eventual plan Gaz. When the loft groom is up and running, my intention is to have two 3 ft beds, re amending after each harvest.
    I've seen a new ecothrive product called life cycle which looks interesting

    I've been half bubbling teas as it happens. Using the recharge powder, fish mix and algamic. Don't know what, if any difference it has made from using it freshly made tbh, but it's worth a go. I was using the hydrotops bactivator before getting the recharge off amazon.

    So when you harvest, how much of the root ball do you remove?

    I had a read of the paper. Quite interesting, feel sorry for the poor bastard though. All that work, all the analyses and statistics for him to be told he has fucked up and the control and mild stress protocols were the same, so most of his data is invalid, in regards to comparing and contrasting them. When I did my dissertation, I think I'd have literally murdered if that happened to me
