Hi guys. I’ve got 8 orange Runtz cake by conscious genetics coming up to day 21 of flower on Monday. Just been out to do my daily checks and a little defoliation and noticed that 2 have got some balls.

1 of them had around 5/6 balls on the whole plant and the other has a few more.

Would you cull them or just pick away the balls and keep a close eye on them? Obviously with electric prices I don’t fancy chopping the lot because it’s a lot of money wasted but I don’t want these to mess everything else up

  2. "I see 3 options Lew.

    1) Keep picking the balls of and get a great grow.
    2) Same has 1 but get some seeds.
    3) Cull

Seeing them this early in flower it would be hard to find them all for so long imho.

Wish I had some better answers for ya. Hopefully someone else thinks of something I didn't.
Wouldn't be the first time and sure as shit won't be the last.

    Best of luck."

I think as meticulous as you are with your plants you would be ok. Maybe chop 1 so you have more time to focus on the other.

I'd keep plucking em, doesn't sound alot. I've had more through high temp and humidity and not had any issues. It's only gonna be an issue if they burst and pollinate the lot

I have culled in the past but thinking back, with it only being a few here and there I probably could have kept them going. I think il continue to pluck and see where I go

Oh bloody hell Lewis, gutted for ya fella.

No advice I’m afraid, you’ve a long way to go yet.

As you have just spotted them,I think I’d keep on top of them for a week and then reassess, like have any others become affected is it getting worse ? etc.

    Tell me about it Beth!

Just been to triple check and they’re riddled. Like a cock fest in there. Out they come and in the bin. Need to find some clones ASAP
