PLEASE DONT! what kind of adapter are u using?
you may have burnt it already, if u conneceted more Amp then specified on adapter. try to connect just one 4 starters and if ur fan doesnt run, try switching wires.
if still no go, then u probably burnt the adapter and the fans, it happened to me, cous i just had to try to connect 0.5 Amp of fans on a 0,400 Amp adapter. lost an adapter and 3 fans

I have a old nokia chargerMUsss
PLEASE DONT! what kind of adapter are u using?
INPUT
ac 100-240 v
50-60 hz/100ma
OUTPUT
dc 5.0 v 350 ma
this has 2 wires black and white
FAN IS
dc 12v 0.35a
this has 4 wires black,yellow.green,blue
not sure what wire goes where thou as electrical 1o1 says
Brown/Red = Live
Blue/Black = Neutral
Green/Yellow = Earth
And i have all the colours mentioned.
Just had a stupid thought as typing, as i have black/blue and green/yellow do i just wire these together and connect them to black-black and blue and white - green and yellow ?
thanks for your time

U are gonna need a bether adapter, u need more amps, as u can see ur fan runs af 0,35 amp, wich is the same as ur adapters output (could be the reson it s not working), and it s good to have more amp as u r consuming.
my advise: get a 9 V adapter with at least 0,5 amp or even greater, so u can connect more then just ine fan on to it, and the 5 V adapter u have is gonna turn the fan much slower then a 9 or 12 V one.
the wires: - connect the black wire from fan to black one from adapter
- the white wire from adapter connects to one of the remaining 3 wires from fan, most fans have just 3 wires: black, red and yelow, and the yellow one is in ur case useless and can be removed, but before u do that try this: connect the black one as told before, then try all the other wires one by one (i would say it s the blue one) and connect them with the white one from the adaptor, just one at the time (plug it in when u connect bouth wires and give it a go)
should work

ok as advised i have found another plug with 13 amp and 240 volts it is a energy saving plug
found there ----> http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/ir-st...-learning.html
it has plenty of amps and only 3 wires
brown/blue/yellow should be easier as long as the sensor doesent cause me any issues
not sure it will as its only the 3 wires on the lead.
thanks for your time muss

i put a pc fan in mine yesterday i used an old motorola charger (the small usb one) and it had a red black and yellow wire the same as the fan so i just connected the wires and it worked fine, seems alot easier than this method but im unsure of the saftey of it
