Hey, Blue. Yeah. I've been feeding with tap water with a bg EC of < 0.2. Some people had success with RO and megacrop, some had to bump up EC to address cal/mag issues. So it seems I gotta feel it out.

I'm thinking for future feeds I calmag my tap up to 0.4 EC (~3ml) before adding other nutes, or might just bump up the MC as many do. Still waffling.

As for a foliar, I'm in a pickle and need to let 19L pots dry out a bit more than normally advised. The plants are already under fed. I thought maybe a calmag foliar app could give them a boost until their next feed. I thought maybe there were some signs of cal deficiency. Not possitive.

I don't think a foliar feed would hurt bud. I would start low like 0.5 ml/L.
Remember to get the underside of the leaves real good. That's where
    the stomata are.

Hashed things out between here and the diary thread. Decided to bump my bg EC from < 0.2 to 0.4 in today's feed. Definitely good to know the foliar would be doable. If running autos 24/0 do you need to kill the lights, or maybe just raise them? Thanks.

I just pull them out of the groom and spray them and wait about a hour and put them back.

Those leaves you marked in the pics above are the single blade leaves whose only purpose is to grab enough light to start the first node growing, once the node gets going they pull their own light and that leaf is no longer required.

The cotyledons below that have the same purpose, grab enough light to make that first single finger leaf.

Pull em off and forget about em or leave em on to die off on their own, either way they have fulfilled their purpose so don't worry about em

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

I never bother doing foliar feeds, just bring the ec to 0.4 with calmag from the start

Since making the switch to RO water, I haven't foliar fed the plants either. I need to add cal/mag to the water everytime anyway.

I like to do a foliar feed with epsom so I don't have to use to much cal/mag and
take a chance of lockout from to much calcium.
