I managed to open the tent with brute force today. Cleaned up the frayed material and managed to understand what needs to be done in order to open/close the tent. Budbox and Onestopgrowshop have received a email so now I’m waiting to hear back. I do like the look on the Homebox tents where there is only a zip from top to bottom and it’s secured with Velcro across the bottom. Looks like a much better design

    How’s your carbon filter hanging?

If the weight of it’s pulling the tent to one side & the frame isn’t square the tent will be tight as Beth said.

That could well be it. The thing is a beast, 1m long 10” filter. It’s all coming apart in the next few days so I can re dot it all so hopefully I will solve it

If you have negative pressure in your tent there's a small amount of dust builds up on the zipper, you don't see it but it's there, or it is on my tent.

Every now and then i can feel the zips tightened slightly.

A spot of Wd40 and i get slithers of compacted dust from either side of the zipper.

I doubt my circumstances are unique.

I have a Budbox pro 1.2 x 2.4 in white, and I’ve only had it 5 months. Since buying I’ve had nothing but issues with my main front top to bottom zip. And now I have this issue

    Attachment 434582

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this issue? It’s got to the point where I can’t even open the tent properly because I can’t get passed this point. Considering this was to the closer side of £300 it’s not ideal

Sorry bud only just seen this thread not sure if you got it sorted but yeah I had light coming through the zips as the flaps on the inside had been stitched to tight so wouldn’t sit flat so they sent me a brand new one.

    Thanks
