    Default Answered: Storing Seeds

    Hi fellow growers,

Can I ask those who buy seeds, how do you store them and for how long before use?

I usually buy then use right away but there's a specific strain I want to get for next run and I might want to buy now and hang onto them for a few weeks and don't want them to degrade at all.

    Thanks
    DT

I keep mine in a Tupperware container, in a draw. So far haven’t had any germ problems

I keep mine in a butter box in the fridge, and also have some auto beans in a freezer. I had a feminised LSD seed in my freezer for over 2 years and she popped fine. Cool, and dark spots are a good way to store them in my opinion.

In a desk drawer or in a mug on top of a desk. I've even kept them in a shoe box in a closet. All of the plants I have going right now are 5+ year old seeds.
